As the year comes to a close, I want to take a moment to thank you for being a part of the Patwell Consulting community. This season invites us to slow down, connect with loved ones, and embrace the spirit of the holiday season.

This year has been full of growth and innovation at Patwell Consulting. Launching our Leading Meaningful Change Essentials Online (LMCEO) program was highlighted. This program equips leaders to navigate change with intention, build resilient teams, and create lasting impact in their organizations. Seeing it come to life has been an incredible journey, and I’m grateful to all who have participated and contributed.

Looking ahead to 2025, I’m excited about the new opportunities on the horizon, including expanded offerings within Leading Meaningful Change and other initiatives designed to support teams and leaders like you. Together, we’ll continue fostering meaningful transformation in workplaces and communities.

Thank you for your ongoing support and inspiration. I am deeply grateful to have the gift of learning with and from you. May this holiday season bring you and your loved ones peace, joy, and good health as you prepare for all the wonderful possibilities ahead for you in the coming year.

Gustavson Project Showcase Day

Reflections from a Mentor: Gustavson’s Inspiring Project Showcase Day

Last week, I had the privilege of being a mentor at the inaugural Project Showcase Day at the Gustavson School of Business. What an incredible day! This event, beautifully orchestrated by Stacey Fitzsimmons and her team, was an inspiring opportunity for students to showcase their innovative projects and talents in a dynamic, supportive environment.

As a mentor, I was blown away by the students’ creativity, determination, and thoughtfulness. Their projects were not only impressive, but also reflected the hard work and passion they’ve poured into their studies. It was an honour to provide guidance and feedback, and I left the day feeling deeply inspired by their potential as future leaders.

A heartfelt thank you to Stacey Fitzsimmons, Associate Professor of International Business at the University of Victoria, for creating such a meaningful experience, and to my fellow mentors for making the day even more impactful. Collaboration between seasoned professionals and aspiring leaders truly creates magic!

I’ve heard from Stacey that many students took the time to share how much this experience meant to them. This is a reminder of how valuable it is to show up and share our knowledge and insights—it really does make a difference.

I look forward to seeing the spotlight on some of these fantastic projects in the coming weeks. Congratulations to all the students and the Gustavson team for such a successful event!
